Bay Walk

posted on: 10.23.2014

I love San Diego, through and through, can you tell by my run down Chargers shirt? Every time I visit it is like a breath of fresh air and I feel recharged. My mother, better known as Captain, and I make it a point to go on multi-mile beach/bay walks during my short visits, and so today I am choosing to share with you a few glimpses of last week's walk. She really is America's Finest City (and Mom), oh how I cherish these moments with both. What are some of your favorite activities to do in your home town? Better yet, how do you like to spend time with your Captain?

  1. ha, I love that you call her captain! I do not have so much love for my hometown, sadly. I like how much you obviously enjoy your mom and the places you have lived and do live. It's a beautiful thing!

  3. I love that you call your mom Captain! That is so cute! I've never been to San Diego but after seeing these gorgeous pics, it's now on my list! There's something so different about the beaches on the West coast vs the East coast. They seem more dramatic! Have a great weekend :)

  8. Beautiful shots of the beach! My favorite photo is the selfie with your mom though - you two look so similar and so happy! :)

I personally love the hiking trails in my home town in Northern California, especially when the hills are green all around.

  21. I love long walks on the beach. I live fairly close to one (at least 15 minute drive that is) but hardly go as often as I should. Too bad the weather is horrible today otherwise I'd be there right now!
