Friday Art Feature

posted on: 2.13.2015

Over the past few weeks my drawings have become increasingly simplified, but I must say to you all, "I am into it." When details are forgone the colors shine, and what more do you need when recreating turquoise hues of Cancun and Hawaii? I am also excited to announce I have added several new items to my shop! The middle painting is now on the site in the creatively dubbed "paintings" section. Since I am most please with drawings numbers 1 and 3 I may choose to keep them, but....I have added the first along with two other drawings as limited edition prints! Which can be found in the, yes you guessed it, "prints" section.

Now that my case of the  rambles is subsiding, I wish you all a quick and easy Friday! xoxo

  5. Love looking at these beautiful pieces, especially since the weather has been so terrible lately, so it's nice to see images of the water:) So lovely!

  10. First off, I love your blog. It's lovely :) secondly, love the paintings! I love pieces that from afar or when you squint, you can see more. Our mind fills in the blanks, which is healthy, but it's rare to find a piece like that. These are all fantastic, and the colors are wonderful. Thanks for sharing!

  17. I agree, simplicity enhances color and sometimes captures a moment much better than details ever could. I love the stillness of this painting. Lovely!

  20. These are really beautiful. I have to say I like the simplified look as well! It works! And it's definitely okay to keep the prints that you like, money isn't important enough to sell things you love! Great work!
