With this February heat wave in full effect, dresses like this green beaut have been life savers for the Big Kahuna captured above. I am deep into my third trimester, and I swear my belly constantly surprises my with its ability to continuously expand. Look, I'd like to tell you all that I am digging my pregnant body, but in truth it's heavy, wiggly and all around uncomfortable. Beside that little being growing inside me and his/her impressive back flips and full-downs that seem to appear after I eat any form of sugar (I wonder where he/she gets it from), humor is what keeps me positive. I am my own walking comedy show and audience, finding as many ridiculously accurate ways to describe my figure. The Big Kahuna, the Walking Potato, the Venus of Willendorf are just a few of the fun nicknames I've assigned myself. I am utterly positive my husband and mother are tired of listening to what seems to be self-deprecation, but I think humor is a healer. And trust me this child of mine is getting a kick out of forcing its mother to waddle on like a penguin in a green dress. They say pregnancy is beautiful, but I'd argue that it is a bit entertaining too :).
